Creator terms
Draft. Before launch we add the operator's name and address, and a lawyer reviews these texts.

1. Scope
These creator terms apply to everyone who publishes routes in RallyRoads ("creators") and add to our terms. They are offered by [NAME] ("we").
2. Who can be a creator
You must be at least 18. To get paid you need a verified payout account with our payment provider Stripe (Stripe Connect Express). Stripe checks your identity, your bank account and, where required, your tax details (know your customer).
3. Your routes and the license
Your routes stay yours. When you publish a route, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, show, sell, translate and read it out (voice) in the app and on our website, and to show excerpts such as the title, map and photos to promote the route and RallyRoads. The license lasts while the route is published. People who bought the route keep it afterwards, and we may keep it available for them.
4. Route rules
Drive every waypoint yourself before you publish. Routes use only public roads and legally open tracks, never private property without permission, and respect closures, low-emission zones and local rules. Descriptions must be accurate, including unpaved sections, tolls and seasonal closures. Only use photos and texts you hold the rights to.
5. No racing, no timing
RallyRoads is about great roads, never about speed. Routes must not contain racing, timed sections, speed challenges, meeting points for street racing or anything else that encourages breaking traffic law. We remove such routes, and the creator account can be closed.
6. Review before publishing
New routes and changes to published routes go to review first (status "In review"). We check them before they go live and may decline them, with a reason. There is no right to have a route published.
7. Single sales: 70% of real net revenue
For each single sale of your route you receive 70% of the net revenue we actually receive: the price paid, minus VAT or sales tax, minus the store fee Apple or Google actually charges. Example: a route for €4.99 bought in Germany comes to €4.19 without 19% VAT and €3.56 after a 15% store fee, of which you receive about €2.50. The free ticket new users get unlocks official RallyRoads routes only, never a creator route.
8. Pro pool: 40%
Each month, 40% of the net revenue from Pro subscriptions (after VAT or sales tax and the store fee) goes into the creator pool. It is shared per subscription: the pool share of each subscription is split among the creator routes completed with it in qualifying drives that month, in proportion to the number of those drives. A qualifying drive is driven to the finish in the app, not by the route's creator, and counts at most once per person, route and day. Official RallyRoads routes do not take part; if no creator route was completed with a subscription in a month, there is no pool share for it. We may exclude drives that show signs of manipulation.
9. Payouts
We pay out monthly once your balance reaches €50; smaller balances roll over to the next month. Store proceeds reach us late, so the earnings of a month are paid at the end of the second month after it (January, for example, at the end of March). Refunds and chargebacks of sales already paid out are offset against future earnings. Payouts go to your Stripe account in euros; Stripe converts them to your currency if needed.
10. Taxes
You are responsible for the taxes on your earnings. Tell us your VAT status in the payout settings; we issue self-billing invoices for you, with or without VAT accordingly. Where tax forms are required, Stripe collects them.
11. Statements
The creator dashboard in the app shows your sales, pool share, refunds and payouts for each month.
12. Takedown
We may unpublish or remove a route that breaks these rules or the law, or after a well-founded notice (Art. 16 Digital Services Act). Three independent reports send a route back to review automatically. We tell you the reason, and you can object by replying; we then check again. People who bought a route keep it unless it is unlawful or dangerous.
13. Ending and changes
You can unpublish your routes or stop being a creator at any time; we pay your remaining balance on the next payout date, even below €50. We tell you about changes to these creator terms at least 30 days in advance; changes to the revenue share never apply to sales made before they take effect.
